"Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let Your glory be above all the earth." PSALM 57:5
Jan Jacobson writes on faith, inner transformation, and living a life that reflects God's glory — through prayer, study, and story.
A life devoted to faith and purpose
Jan Jacobson is a retired banker who now lives in Whitehouse, Texas. Originally from Columbia, Louisiana, she grew up there, got married, raised her children, and built her career before retiring. In 2021, she and her husband moved to Texas to be closer to their son as their twilight years approached.
Over the years, Jan has led countless ladies' Bible studies — in her home, at church, and even in a boutique! She loves hosting tea parties and uses them as a sweet, unexpected way to share the gospel. Through her teaching and her book, The Beautiful in You: Become a GEM for Christ, Jan encourages and empowers women of all ages to embrace their inner beauty and carry Christ's message to the world by reflecting His beauty in their own lives.
"Faith. Writing. Purpose." — the heart of everything shared here.
The Beautiful in You
Become the GEM Christ created you to be. Jan's book walks readers through Scripture-rooted reflections on identity, refinement, and the beauty God is shaping in every season of life.
